GH2 Architects was engaged by the Tulsa County Commissioners to design the renovation for the relocation of County offices to an existing office building in downtown Tulsa. Tulsa County recently acquired the nine-story Community Care Building at 6th Street and Denver Avenue, near the existing Tulsa County Headquarters Complex.
GH2 is working alongside County officials to design the updates required to house the County Departments in the existing structure and update the facility to meet modern office standards. Other priority issues include client service, building security, cost of operation, and occupant wellness. GH2 developed a detailed space program and worked on numerous options to find the optimum solution for vertical "stacking" of the facility. GH2 then developed office layouts and design documents for the project. The project includes a new county commissioner's meeting room, a snack bar, a health/fitness facility, and other amenities for the citizens of Tulsa County.
