GH2 Equine Architects, in association with a Mississippi firm was selected to provide programming, planning, and cost analysis studies for this multi-purpose equestrian/animal science facility at Mississippi State University at Starkville, Mississippi.
This multi-purpose facility includes an enclosed arena for all-weather activities (animal evaluation, livestock management and production, livestock and dairy judging, western equitation, student sponsored horse shows, rodeos, concerts, etc). The arena building also includes spectator services, offices, classrooms and research labs. Other facilities include three livestock barns which house stalls, pens, wash and grooming areas for these activities as well as necessary site infrastructure such as utilities, parking, landscaping, and graphics.
This large facility also includes a harness racing track to be utilized as a research and training facility, as well as regional racing events.
