General Services Administration (GSA) Oklahoma City Post Office and Federal Building – Building Envelope Assessment

GH2 Architects created a comprehensive facility assessment which summarized the existing building envelope (building façade and roof), overall physical condition; described the pertinent components of the systems; and identified physical deficiencies and conditions that would pose a life safety threat, contribute to potential or actual physical damage to the subject property; or limit the expected useful life of major components or systems of the building envelope.

The scope of effort included but was not limited to; performing a general assessment of water intrusion, assess all windows, evaluate all exterior doors, review all exterior concrete and access to the building, and review impacts of cast stone deterioration and required repairs. The tower element was assessed via drone footage.

GH2 provided a detailed report identifying priority of identified items by significance of building impact. As well as a cost estimate listed by priority for each line item.
