Washington County SPCA Master Plan & New Facility

With a capacity to hold 191 cats, 72 dogs, the original Washington County SPCA Facility master plan was designed to maximize space and to be as efficient and cost effective as possible. The new facility is designed at 9,075 square feet. Other elements of the master plan design include a sally port for intake, a community room, adoption rooms (also known as “get acquainted” rooms to emphasize a “Fear Free” environment), outdoor adoption areas, exercise areas and walking trails, as well as veterinary areas including treatment and surgery.
