Verdigris Public Schools Indoor Practice Facility

Verdigris Public Schools Practice facility is a multi-purpose indoor practice facility designed as part of the 2013 bond issue developments. The 8,000-square-foot facility is used by baseball, softball and football.

The pre-engineered metal building construction maximized the size and efficiency of the structure. The synthetic field surface, DoublePlay by FieldTurf, was the choice of the two-time World Series Champion Miami Marlins. There are large overhead doors at each end of the building for cross-ventilation during hot summer days, and all baseball equipment is on lifts so that it can be raised for football practice. The two batting cages are retractable as well, allowing for a truly versatile sports facility. Also included in the facility are women’s and men’s locker rooms, a coach’s office for two people, and sports equipment storage.
