Tulsa Public Schools – Porter Early Childhood Center
Porter Early Childhood Center was constructed in 1929 with classical architectural elements. The rehabilitation and expansion of this existing school facility was needed before converting the facility into an early childhood development center for four and five-year-old students.
After careful planning the project scope consists of a 33,279-square-foot renovation and 16,916-square-foot addition. The building addition includes a new cafeteria with kitchen and seven-classrooms. The renovation included new heating and air conditioning systems, new electrical systems, new fire alarm and other life safety systems. New interior finishes and learning technology systems were included in the design.
