Southern Hills Marriott

With its central location in South Tulsa, the Southern Hills Marriott hotel is an iconic building in the city. Per the Marriott Property Improvement Plan, GH2 Hospitality Architects is providing services for a large-scale renovation, including 383 guestrooms, four suites, guest room corridors, three hospitality studios, lobbies, concierge lounge, pool, fitness center, laundry rooms, conference rooms, the Sequoyah Ballroom, Tallgrass and Remington’s restaurants, and a new porte cochere, landscaping and lighting on the exterior. The design inspiration, drawn from the natural environment, encompasses elements such as wood accents, natural light, greenery and patterns found in nature. The colors are a relatively neutral palette of soft grays, browns and taupes, with occasional splashes of brighter colors in carpet and wall art and coverings.
