Mustang Public Schools – Transportation Warehouse

The new 22,000-square-foot Transportation Facility and Warehouse provides ample space for the growing Mustang Public Schools. The facility includes four maintenance bays, one wash bay, mechanic workshop, parts storage, child nutrition warehouse, a 2,000-square-foot freezer, offices, large break room/driver lounge, training room and conference rooms. Located on the corner of 15th Street and Czech Hall on the new intermediate school #3 site, the facility is a modified metal building with a metal panel covering and a portion of brick wainscot at the front entry. A continuous clerestory distributes natural light to interior spaces and protruding structing columns provide a covered work area at the rear of the building while also adding architectural interior to the front façade.
