City of Sand Springs Historical and Cultural Museum

The City of Sand Springs and the Sand Springs Historical and Cultural Museum made a significant contribution to the preservation of the Page Memorial Library Building, the home of the museum, by undertaking a comprehensive exterior rehabilitation project. The art deco style structure was constructed in 1930 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Our team of architects worked closely with the City of Sand Springs and the Museum leadership team to design the exterior rehabilitation project.

The scope of work included window restoration, repair and re-coating of exterior stucco, a new roof system, site grading and drainage improvements, parapet repairs and the replacement of the damaged entry stairway. The project successfully stabilized the building envelope and sets the stage for future rehabilitation efforts on the interior of the structure.
