City of Mesa – Historic Post Office Rehabilitation

The Federal Building, built in 1936 by the Federal Government Department of Treasury, became Mesa’s first 1st-class post office. The two-story building recently underwent a rehabilitation to transform the space into a multi-use community and business space. GH2 provided historic preservation, architectural, interior design, landscape architecture, and space planning services. The project included upgrades to meet current building code and ADA standards, exterior rehabilitation, interior improvements for programmable space, catering kitchen, bathroom upgrades, administrative space, other miscellaneous enhancements, and a new addition for an elevator.
