Chickasaw Nation Chigley Mansion Rehabilitation Conceptual Design

When renovated, historically preserved and restored to its former glory, this mansion will provide a venue for cultural classes, weddings, family reunions, retreats, meeting and dinners. It will also serve to draw more visitors to the town of Davis.The facility will include museum-style exhibit rooms for Nelson Chigley’s office and 1890s-style bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen will be renovated as a catering kitchen, and staff will utilize the add-on room of the home for the business office.Blue River will also design a few “period” (1890s) pavilions scattered across the grounds, as well as a large in-ground fire pit, a small pond, other landscaping and a parking area for visitors.
