Catoosa Public Schools New Elementary School

From a 2022 $52 million education bond, Catoosa Public Schools will soon have a new elementary school for all students, Pre-K through fifth grade. The new school will replace two schools that are 60 to 80 years old and in severe need of repairs and updates.
The new school will have several features to accommodate the anticipated 1,200 students including two music rooms, two art rooms and a large STEM lab. The two-level structure will have classrooms for Pre-K and first grade on the ground floor and second and fifth-grade classrooms on the second floor. Connecting the two levels will be four learning stairs that incorporate collaborative spaces for innovative educational opportunities. The school will also have a gym sized for school performances and large community gatherings.
