Brace Place Tulsa
The Brace Place selected GH2 Architects to provide design services for the exterior facade and for interior renovations to the existing structure. The original building, built in 1978, was designed in the brutalist style making the structure feel stark, heavy, and overtly masculine. Our re-design of the exterior facade epitomizes the regional modern flair style, with local stone cladding and a custom composite metal panel depicting whimsical brace graphics. The design also includes an expansion of the patient area in the form of a glass wall, facing the street, which will frame the patient observation area. The design team came up with a unique solution that enables the practice to continue seeing patients during construction with no interruptions or inconvenience.
