Studio Director

GH2 Architects, LLC, a full-service architecture and design firm with 50 years of experience and offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and Phoenix, is seeking a Studio Director to join our team in the Oklahoma City office.

Our highly collaborative team is passionate about providing world-class designs and services to our clients. We are uniquely positioned to provide a positive environment that adds meaning and value to our clients and communities through built environments supporting multiple practice areas, including education, government/public, office, non-profit, healthcare, and many more. GH2 also maintains dedicated specialty practices in hospitality, equine, and historic preservation architecture.

This position will work directly with our architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture project teams, the business development team, and firm management in various ways. Focused on guiding mentorship for our team, this position will also support project development and assist in developing and implementing strategic business plans to meet short- and long-term goals.

Candidates for this position are experienced architects who can advise the development and management of multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment. Must be an organized self-starter who can multitask and prioritize deadlines effectively while maintaining flexibility to support additional firm efforts as needed. The position requires the ability to help manage multiple projects in a flexible environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proactive planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are a must.

Position Qualifications
• Licensed Architect
• Mentorship and management skills are required to foster team growth and leadership development.
• History of leading and inspiring staff to produce great work while maintaining a positive culture.
• Experience as a Project Manager in a variety of project types.
• Strong understanding of and established relationships with the OKC AEC industry and community.
• Attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Flexibility and ability to handle and manage change effectively and efficiently.

Position Responsibilities
• Mentorship for architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture team members.
• Assist in Quality Assurance review scheduling and documentation.
• Support project development through all phases for each project.
• Provide a high level of service and communication consistent with GH2 standards.
• Monitor staff operations levels to ensure all projects are on schedule and all employees are being utilized.
• Business development by personally developing relationships to further goals or leveraging other team members to expand or establish relationships.
• Assist project teams in managing workload and deadlines.
• Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to meet short- and long-term goals.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings (both in-person and virtual) and project site visits. 
• Special duties and project assignments in support of project teams.
