GH2 Architects, LLC, a full-service architecture, and design firm with over 50 years of experience and offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, and Denver, is seeking a Project Architect to join GH2 Equine Architects, a specialty practice of GH2 Architects.

Passionate about horses and animal care facilities, the equine specialty team have master planned and designed many of the finest equine amenities across five continents. They have raised the level of sophistication, functionality, safety and efficiency of equine and livestock facility master planning and design worldwide. In addition to small animal facility design, their equine project experience ranges from highly technical surgical centers and bio-isolation stables to equine event centers, personal training, breeding, boarding and recreational facilities. They are not only architects, but they are also active equestrians and facility users. Their passion provides further interaction and feedback from fellow users and industry leaders.

Ideal candidates to join the Team would have experience in one or multiple areas of either equine, livestock (including cattle handling and/or small livestock such as sheep, swine, goats), fairgrounds/expo, small animal clinics/shelters and/or veterinary facility master planning and design. Responsibilities include all facets of professional practice and client engagement. Proficiency working in Revit/BIM 360 is required along with excellent presentation, client communication and consultant coordination skills.

This position is open to licensed Architect candidates who will have the option to work remotely. Non-licensed candidate’s will also be considered but may be required to begin working in one of our offices until licensed. Candidates will be required to travel to project sites/meetings ranging from 1 or 2 trips per month up to occasionally 1 trip per week (typically 1-3 nights in duration) depending on project schedules.
