BIM/IT Specialist
GH2 Architects, LLC, a full-service architecture, and design firm with over 50 years of experience and offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, and Denver, is seeking a BIM/IT Specialist to join our growing team in GH2’s Tulsa, OK, office.

GH2 also maintains dedicated specialty practices in hospitality, equine, and historic preservation architecture.
This position will work directly with our architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, marketing, accounting and administrative teams. This position will require travel to other GH2 offices.
The right candidate for this position must excel at working in a fast-paced team environment, be a self-starter, able to multi-task, be organized, able to prioritize deadlines effectively, be flexible to support additional firm efforts as needed, and be willing to be in the Tulsa office on a full-time basis. Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proactive planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are a must.
Primary areas of responsibility include the below tasks. Flexibility and time management skills to accomplish both are of utmost importance.
Position Responsibilities
• Create and maintain families, libraries, and overall models within BIM software.
• Manage libraries and assist in migrating libraries to cloud-based systems.
• Audit models throughout a project timeline for overall health.
• Teach and mentor staff. Lead workshops on software updates, new tools, best practices, etc.
• Help guide workflow, best practices and coordination. Firm templates and styles have been established.
• Work with senior staff to further develop current firm practices, standards, and tools to optimize efficiency and accuracy of BIM.
• Set up and manage BIM 360 projects on Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Assist the project teams to coordinate, produce/maintain construction documents, optimize and improve the efficiency and accuracy of a BIM model from the conception phase of a project.
• Coordinate with consultants to integrate their design and documentation methodologies to facilitate consistent and reliable transfer of information.
• Research and recommend related emerging design technologies and digital design for future integration, including virtual reality and rendering.
• Track and manage licenses and seats.
• Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
• Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.

• Setup of user accounts
• Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
• Ensure network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions.
• Continuously analyze current processes, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement.
• Maintain information security
• Prepare cost benefits analysis when upgrades are necessary, to determine vendors are offering the best possible service for the price.
• Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed.
• Must be able to physically move computers and peripherals.
• Ability to work after normal business hours when needed
• Monitors network utilization and performance, implements procedures for network optimization, reliability, and availability.

Position Qualifications
• 5 years of experience in similar role
• Experience in a BIM/IT Specialist capacity at an architecture, design, or engineering firm, with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science preferred.
• Experience in Microsoft Office 365, Windows, Apple, Sophos, Ajera, Revit, Autocad, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, BIM 360, and Unifi (now Autodesk Content).
• Experience with Dynamo not required but preferred, and other software.
• Experience in training staff, troubleshooting, and standardization.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
