During a year of peaks and valleys, we are extremely honored to announce Jeremy Carlisle has been promoted to Principal and will be joining our leadership team, effective January 1, 2021.
With degrees in Landscape Architecture from Kansas State University and a Master of Science in Construction Management from the University of Oklahoma, Jeremy has a unique educational and professional background. He has put his specialized qualifications to good use by creating the landscape design team and has grown it into an award-winning powerhouse with experience in parks and recreation, athletics, and related site planning projects.
During his 14 years with GH2, he has worked on various projects, including the Holland Hall Wellness Center & Chapman Green, Owasso Redbud Festival Park, the Tandy Family YMCA and the Metro Christian Academy Master Plan and Patriot Stadium Improvements.
Jeremy leads the construction cost estimating team at GH2. In his leadership role, he assists the team in preparing estimates for all GH2 projects and provides our clients with exceptional information related to project costs and feasibility — allowing clients to make the best possible decisions for their specific needs. Thanks to Jeremy, the entire firm embraces the importance of cost control and careful management of our clients' resources.
Carl O'Brien, landscape designer, talks about his experience working with Jeremy, "Jeremy is in constant pursuit of excellence and working directly with him, I can tell you, he expects that of his team as well."
Carl continues, "When you receive feedback from Jeremy, he doesn't say, 'This is what you did wrong,' but rather, 'Here is how we can improve.' He is always attempting to make GH2 better for both our clients and employees. His approach is positive, even in difficult situations. When there are challenges with a project, his focus on moving forward, providing a quality solution, and above all else taking care of our clients."
Another landscape designer, Nick Spriggs, agrees and adds, "Jeremy always puts the client first during every phase of the project and leads the landscape team that way as well. He always has time to teach and puts his heart and soul into completing a project to the best of his ability. He takes the 'service' part of our values: Design. Service. Solutions. very seriously. He truly loves GH2 and the people he works with."
Tyler Wallace, Associate Principal, commented, "Jeremy is the living, breathing GH2 ideal. He always puts his family and company first and is truly a great treasure. Everyone loves Jeremy. He is an excellent designer, manager, friend and an outstanding example of a servant-leader."
When asked what his favorite part about GH2 is, Jeremy states, "The people — I am extremely grateful for the friendships formed with colleagues and clients!"
Jeremy's humble demeanor, enthusiastic work ethic, dedication to family and commitment to GH2's clients is an example to us all. He has a true passion for design and construction and appreciates that GH2 presents the opportunity to work on multiple ongoing projects that are often all in different phases.
He notes, "The desire to improve with every project and provide solutions for our clients is extremely exciting. I believe the combined passion of our clients and staff can change any challenge into an opportunity!"
Jeremy is a master at translating our client's visions into reality, all the while supporting his GH2 team members in any way he can. We know Jeremy will continue to be an essential leader for and we are excited to see his vision for our firm come to life!
