March 27th, 2026
GH2 Architects, LLC, was founded in Oklahoma in 1973 and won its first award from the American Institute of Architects in 1974. Over the years, the firm expanded, opening a Tulsa office in 1992. Now headquartered in the historic Greenwood District inside a building designed by its own architects, GH2 also maintains offices in Oklahoma City, Denver and Phoenix.
The internationally recognized architecture and design firm is passionate about delivering transformative design through exceptional client service. GH2 provides fully integrated in-house architecture, interior design and landscape architecture services. Additionally, GH2 offers several specialty services, including master planning, cost estimating and LEED consultation.
GH2 has completed thousands of projects across more than 17 practice areas. The diverse nature of the firm’s work demonstrates the team’s deep knowledge base and broad perspectives available at clients’ disposal. The GH2 team is united by core values of legacy, opportunity and community. The GH2 legacy is defined by world-class design and exceptional client service, with a company culture of empowerment and opportunity, and a team that cultivates community.
One of the main ways GH2 has impacted the communities it serves is through its work with many local non-profit organizations. In Tulsa, GH2 has designed projects for entities including the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, Iron Gate, and Family and Children’s Services. GH2 takes pride in its work with local schools, having worked with many districts across Green Country.
GH2 has evolved from a sole proprietorship into one of Oklahoma’s largest architectural firms. Now in its third progression of ownership from within, GH2 has grown organically over time, with 120 team members across its four offices. The firm’s leadership team includes Kala Ade, Sara Andrews, Michelle Bergwall, Daryl Bray, Jeremy Carlisle, Megan Chinowth, Andrew Colbert, Mindy Gray, Cara Hall, Michael Hall, Christina Harris, Timothy Herzer, Morgan Holt, Steve Jaggers, Eric King, Thea Lawson, Kevin Oyler, Jamie Prashaw, Emily Sappington, Chris Seat, Nicole Shay, Daniel Smith, Nick Spriggs, Whit Todd, Robert Wadsack, Tyler Wallace and Alicia Wohl.
In addition to developing effective design solutions for its clients, GH2 is committed to developing and supporting its team members. GH2 fosters a studio environment where individuals are empowered to pursue their passions and develop a unique expertise. As a teaching firm, GH2 provides young professionals with comprehensive training and real-world experience by entrusting them with design challenges and client interactions throughout each project phase. Community engagement is important to the firm, with GH2 team members participating at every level — from volunteer efforts to serving on various boards and advisory committees.
Alongside its clients, GH2 has been recognized with more than 150 industry and design awards. These awards include multiple merit and honor awards from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), awards for historic preservation projects, awards for technical specifications and multiple awards from construction industry groups.
GH2 is a three-time recipient of AIA Eastern Oklahoma’s Firm of the Year Award, and also received the Firm of the Year Award from AIA Central Oklahoma. Interior Design Magazine has included GH2 on their Rising Giants List for the past seven consecutive years, and in 2025, GH2 was added to their list of Healthcare Giants. These awards recognize the firm’s contributions to the community and the profession through leadership, vision and design.
