Sand Springs Historical and Cultural Museum Rehabilitation
Sand Springs, Oklahoma
The Sand Springs Historical and Cultural Museum was constructed in 1930 and is on the National Registry of Historic Places. Working closely with the City of Sand Springs and Museum Administrators, GH2 designed the exterior rehabilitation of this facility. We worked tirelessly to preserve the historic nature of the project and to enhance its character with various exterior improvements. This first project phase includes window restoration, recoating of exterior stucco, new roof, site drainage improvements, historically sensitive parapet improvements and the exterior grand entry stair replacement. Phase II will include the interior rehabilitation and is on hold pending funds.
